Gaetz: Plan to empower McHenry 'won't be offered by Republicans'

NBC News' Ali Vitali spoke to Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., as he left a meeting with House Republicans to discuss the path forward on electing a new speaker. Gaetz said he believes a plan to empower the interim speaker, Rep. Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., "won't be offered by Republicans" and appears to not be an option.
