Journey to Everest Part 2

Last year I hiked the Himalayas to Everest Base Camp. This is looking back on the process of getting ready. It was my first trek so I had none of the gear I needed. Collecting hiking gear can get really expensive but the good part is that once you have it, you’re ready for the next trek. This was my first proper backpack and the employee at REI fitted me for it. I wasn’t aware backpacks came in different sizes. I learned a lot on this trek.
