Toyota taught the industry how to run its manufacturing operations to their utmost efficiency, and set the industry standard for product development. It took the rest of the auto industry ages to copy Toyota and adopt what they are going. They improved their productivity, quality and profitability, AND THEN CAME TESLA AND RIPPED IT ALL TO SHREDS.
