How To Fix Asus Black Screen, Dim Screen, Computer Turns On But LCD Not Working

If your computer is turning on, but the screen either remains black or very dim, then follow this video to troubleshoot the reason why. Q: My RAM was not the issue and my computer displayed to an external monitor.
A: That means that most likely, the issue is with your LCD or your LCD Cable. Try 'reseating' the cable first. ( unplug it from both ends and plug it back ). If that does not help, replace the cable. If that does not work, replace the LCD.
