Ruston Kelly — Live in Studio

April 9, 2019 – Ruston Kelly performs a live acoustic set in WGBH’s Fraser Performance Studio (including a new song, “Closest Thing”). Kelly is accompanied by his father, Tim “TK” Kelly on guitar. Kelly began songwriting in his teens leading to a publishing deal with BMG Nashville in 2013. That year, he placed “Nashville Without You” with Tim McGraw, who recorded it for the album Two Lanes of Freedom. Kelly’s earned critical acclaim and recognition through his subsequent solo releases, impressive Spotify streams, and marriage to Kacey Musgraves.
