India has responded to reports of China building a village in the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh and said that it is keeping a "constant watch on all developments having a bearing on India's security". On Monday, news reports surfaced that China has allegedly built a village on the banks of River Tsari Chu in Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh. The village reportedly consists of 101 homes and encroaches approximately 4.5 kilometers into Indian territory. The makers of Tandav have issued an unconditional apology for hurting religious feelings. The Amazon Prime Video web series stirred controversy for allegedly creating a possibility of religious tension, portraying Hindu Gods in a bad light, and using casteist scenes and dialogues in the series. An FIR has also been filed against the makers of Tandav and the head of Amazon Prime Video in India. Akshay Kumar has been called out for hypocrisy after the actor took to Twitter to post a video urging fans and followers to donate to the Ram Mandir construction.
