"Little House: The American Dream" focuses on the real story of Laura Ingalls Wilder, whose life the show was based upon, the casting process, the entertainment legend Michael Landon, the process of building not only exterior but also interior sets, a glimpse into what it was like to work on the show, the show's demise and, lastly, the everlasting impact the show has had upon the world.

The documentary, "Little House: The American Dream" is a student project as I want to present it to my media studies class in college to give me credit when applying to University. I have given credit to all the copyrighted material owners in my video.
The purpose of the usage of this copyrighted material is to present information about the TV series "Little House on the Prairie" in a journalistic style. The use of this material commenting on the material itself, and the originality of the video can be considered transformative.
A majority of the copyrighted material used is already published. The video is non-fiction, non-consumable, and informational in nature.
Applies to the "Little House on the Prairie" episodes only: Less than 10% of the copyrighted material is used in the video. The small portions used are not central or significant to the entire work as a whole, they simply help to accomplish a legitimate purpose which is to tell the story. The portions used do not discourage people from seeing the original work.
Appraisal of the copyrighted material runs throughout the video. The fact the video is being shared with a target audience of "Little House on the Prairie" fans, and the appraisal of the material will stimulate the market, respectively. Also, permission for digital excerpt is not readily available from the publisher(s) at a reasonable price.
