Bon Jovi Livin' on a Prayer at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2018

HBO broadcast of Jon Bon Jovi leading his group on finale Livin' On a Prayer headlining the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After finishing evening's last performance, bandmates hugged and raised their arms in unison.

Richie Sambora and Alec Jon Such reunite with their former Bon Jovi bandmates for the Rock Hall induction ceremony. Alec John Such left the group in the mid-Nineties and hasn't appeared with them onstage since 2001. Lead guitarist and key songwriter Richie Sambora departed Bon Jovi in 2013. The Rock Hall inducted founding members Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, keyboardist David Bryan, bassist Alex John Such and drummer Tico Torres, alongside Such's replacement, Hugh McDonald, who stepped in in 1994.

Bon Jovi reunited on the Rock Hall stage for a rousing rendition of their chart topping rock classic. Livin' on a Prayer is from their third album Slippery When Wet. Written by Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, and Desmond Child, the 1986 single gave Bon Jovi their first number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and their second consecutive No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit. The song is the band's signature song, topping fan-voted lists and re-charting around the world decades after its release.
