Ivana Spanovic defeated reigning world indoor champion Brittney Reese to claim gold at the 2018 World Indoor Athletics Championships in Birmingham. After claiming bronze in 2014 and silver in 2016, Serbian Spanovic made it to the top of the podium with a leap of 6.96m. USA's Reese claimed silver with Sosthene Moguenara of Germany taking bronze
