MADRID AIRPORT PLANE SPOTTING ‘BEST OF’

Back in late January, we visited Madrid Barajas Airport for an all-day livestream with our members. Once again, from an early morning start, MAD was great, delivering some classic action, a couple of special liveries and a splash of exotics. Iberia has 17 A346 aircraft in its fleet, the same number as Lufthansa, and we caught our fair share of this classic gas-guzzler, before they get replaced with the new A350’s. So, for A346 fans, it’s always a classic venue.
My position was No 8 on spotterguide.net where you get a decent view across the airfield and can see most of the action, apart from the Eastern side of the satellite terminal.
