Robot CNC Machining

Gizelis Robotics developed a Robot CNC machining cell using a Yaskawa Motoman ES165D. The robot is equipped with spindle, automatic tool changer, lubrication and is completelly programmed from Delcam's Powermill software. The robot communicates with a PC and loads all program information, which gives it unlimited memory. The material shown in the video is steel but the cell can be used for machining a variety of materials, like marble, stone etc. If additional axis are added the robot can machine very large parts and be introduced in new fields of application.
