t's time to get down to business.  Late October is here and I am making my annual run through the midwest.  The first stop is Illinois.  Although the past few years have been tough in Illinois, I have high hopes to come within bow range of 2 different bucks I have been following on my Spartan Cameras.  We timed this trip up strategically with the Red Moon because I know that gets the deer on their feet and especially the big mature bucks.  Our first afternoon sit, we are in the game right off the bat and I am confident that with a little adjustment to our set up we will be right in the game.  On day number 2 we pulled a hang and hunt and you just have to watch and see what happened.  Let's just say he could not handle the grunt call from Illusion Systems and he wasn't the only one.  Just watch and see this epic hunt from Illinois in late October.
