Bill Gates Reportedly Investigated By Microsoft After Affair With Colleague

Microsoft confirmed it conducted an investigation after an employee raised a concern in 2019, saying Bill Gates sought an “intimate relationship” with her in 2000. A spokeswoman for Gates says “there was an affair almost 20 years ago, which ended amicably,” and denied the investigation was the reason he stepped down from the company’s board.
