This video was made for and shown at the 2022 Extension & Engagement Week. Used to open the Keynote Session - Climate, Markets and Politics: Food and Agriculture at a Generational Crossroads session on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, this video takes a look at the thinking and approach to the Phelps County Food System Daniel B. Oerther, PhD, PE, CEHS instills in the environmental engineering students who take 5619 Environmental Engineering Design at the Missouri University of Science and Technology located in Rolla, Missouri.

The conference theme was: Food is at the heart of our social, cultural, economic and environmental well-being. With the resources, expertise and perspectives we each bring to the table, we must work toward a shared vision of an improved food system.
