Hello guys ;). I know it took me more than a year to upload again, but here we are at last and I really hope you'll like another SKZ vid, because I love them so much and they inspire me to no ends :').
Honestly, after all this time and the long inactivity, I gotta thank everyone who found their way back here. I appreciate every comment and like you guys leave for me. This one's special, so your feedback is all the more appreciated and cherished.
Zombies as a theme has been a long time coming. With all the "apocalyptic" shit on top of the pandemic happening all around us, it does feel a little bit like the end is near. The storyline was supposed to be more tragic when I first started editing, reflecting my general state of being at the time (... :'d anYwaY). Fortunately, it took a life of its own as usual and this is the happy-ending version I didn't know I wanted to see.
I've watched what must have been 99% of all Zombie related movies and series released after 2000. You name a movie, a little scene from it can probably be found somewhere in this trailer, a tiny tribute. I do love zombie movies. And stories. Yes, I've read some amazing fanfics set in a zombie(/demon etc.) apocalypse and ones that stuck with me probably showed a little bit in here too as e.g. my Minsung forever pair, Seungmin BAMF...
As for the characters and the plot, I'm hoping the majority of the video is self-explanatory, but in case of confusion I'm writing down some things I had in mind below.
Btw. also as usual - feel free to write a story based on this, or create art if you feel inspired. I just ask that you let me know about it, so I can squeel and enjoy it and promote it ;).

PLOT/CHARACTERS:

CHAN
- ex-military
- had a large family and lots of good friends, but lost everyone in the initial outbreak

SEUNGMIN & I.N.
- adopted orphan boys, raised as brothers by a strict, survivalist father who basically aimed to train them into walking killing machines to be able to withstand the worst of conditions
- Moody's "constant vigilance"

MINHO
- protested, and was subsequently exiled there himself, against sending people (aka his big brother /Lee Minhyuk ♥/) that were deemed too poor, too 'mentally-ill', too inconvenient in general (and therefore 'wasted' limited protected spaces and resources of safe havens) to so called Dead Zones. DZ were places overrun by zombies that could no longer be controlled. Being a little 'sociopathic' (or so he liked to think) he had no trouble surviving by taking care of anyone posing any threat to him.

JISUNG
- deemed as inconvenient, just like everyone else on the bus that was supposed to drive to one of the last few safe havens on Earth. Instead, the bus took them to the middle of a Dead Zone to be attacked and 'taken care of'. Jisung got bitten, but didn't start turning in the first 24 hours, which is when he was found by Minho. Minho had a theory and was willing to test it out.

CHANGBIN
- perpetual shit-stirrer who thrived in danger and illegal activities.
- his friend Felix went mysteriously missing in a safe haven, where Hyunjin lived

HYUNJIN
- Minho's rich, pampered friend, who didn't join the protests.
- upon meeting Changbin (and falling in love a little bit - after Bin stole from him, which led to Jin being obessed and stalking the criminal out of boredom ♥), he finally decided to try to overcome his paralizing fear of living by going on Changbin's mad runs into the Dead Zones and eventually trying to save Changbin's supposedly dead friend, Felix.

FELIX
- mysteriously disappeared, later officially confirmed dead to anyone who came asking, but his body was never recovered.
- turns out, he did actually die. Just once and possibly never again, just enough for the virus to react to an administered dose of an experimental drug, turning him into the first half-zombie with incredible, newly gained physical abilities. Immediately, he became the most valuable property of the governing body.
- Felix struggles with his new identity.

I see Hyunjin/Changbin/Felix as a poly trio. Minsung as a slow burn pair with issues and Chan (submissive) and the other two as some kind of a working (dominant) unit. Haa, anyway, that's it ;).
