Hawaiian Coffee Mug: The House of the Sun (Haleakalā Sunrise)

Haleakalā means "house of the sun" — the Maui summit where, in Hawaiian legend, the demigod Māui lassoed the sun to make the day last longer. We turned that golden sunrise into a digital oil painting on a ceramic coffee mug, from our small Native Hawaiian-owned studio in Kailua-Kona.
