Double Track Level Crossing for LEGO® train layouts

This video illustrates the flexibility of our automation system. We used the standard level crossing automation set with two additional sensors to build a double track level crossing.

The crossing is controlled by our nControl™ automation software. The double track level crossing was implemented with custom Python™ scripts in the sensor tiles. When a train enters the crossing the barriers are closed. The program keeps track of the number of trains in the crossing and only opens the barriers when the last train has cleared the crossing.
