Deepti grew up seeped in Hindu rituals and customs as her parents were very religious and she never questioned the practices that were being followed. So her childhood was covered by Hindu ritual and spiritual customs, therefore, she grew in her life and never had a question that who is God? However as Deepti entered engineering college she made a friend who she couldn't help but notice was different than all of them.

Her friend's attitude was always very positive and different from the others. She would often think 'How can anyone be so good and positive all the time? How is this possible?' As she began to spend more time with him, Deepti realized that there were no pretences in her friend, and she was curious to know what made him the way he was. He told him four things about Jesus His birth, sacrifice, resurrection and second coming. When she heard all this she couldn't believe it. She started to research, had much study, she searched in the internet and she got that only Jesus is a true God who divided the two part of history in A.D and B.C. If Jesus hadn't become or coming on the earth, it is true that we didn't read and understand the history today.

Deepti liked what he shared but would question the authenticity of all of this. She liked to hear stories about Jesus but she had one question where this truth is written so her friend gave him the bible. As she began to read the Bible, Deepti sensed a deep change gradually started within her. One day, her friend told her something that got her thinking about her faith. One day Deepti was fasting for the idols and was talking to her friend about it. He told him that you read the bible, and believe in Jesus so did God lead you to hold fast for the idols. And that day, she left idol worshipping completely. And she had a deep desire to grow in Jesus.

Deepti decided to take a stand and made a decision. "When I felt that these things, it had a very practical decision in my life and my decision to accept Jesus was with fact it was very practical. There had not any place for emotion because I did not accepted Jesus emotionally or by seeing any miracle in my life but when I came to know about the truth that He is the only true God. Then I accepted Him in my life and I got so much peace which I never found while doing idol worshipping," said Deepti.

Today, Deepti follows Jesus completely and this is what she has to say, "If Jesus didn't came in my life, perhaps I didn't even know the purpose of my life, and without purpose human life is useless at this earth, Jesus told me, about my purpose, what is my aim and I thanks to Jesus for giving such a lovely friend to me who told me about Jesus."
