Field Tested: Mathews Triax Review

This week on Field Tested, Matty if giving us the details on the new 2018 Mathews Triax! Similar, top heavy riser and short wide limbs like the Halon and Halon 32, but Mathews threw in a new EHS and 3D dampening system, creating a vibration free and quite bow. The Triax still uses the same crosscentric cam and CC2 rock mods (available in 75% annd 85% let off) just like the Halon series. The Triax is built for speed and stealth, having a short 28 inch axle to axle and a 6 inch brace height, giving this bow a IBO rating at 343 feet per second. This bow can fit almost anyone have a draw length range of 24.5-30.5 inches and limbs ranging from 40-50, 50-60, and 60-70 pounds. And lets not forget to mention the bow is weighting in at 4.46 pounds, to give us a good steady shot for longer distances. If you haven't seen the new color options, go to http://www.mathewsinc.com/ or any Mathews Dealer and check out the wide color selection they offer, including new Under Armour camo.
