حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے ایک گھوڑا اللہ کی راہ میں صدقہ کیا۔
بعد میں انہوں نے دیکھا کہ وہ گھوڑا فروخت ہو رہا ہے، تو وہ چاہتے تھے کہ اسے دوبارہ خرید لیں۔
نبی کریم ﷺ سے اس بارے میں دریافت کیا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا:
"اپنے صدقے کی طرف دوبارہ رجوع نہ کرو۔"
(صحیح بخاری، حدیث نمبر: 1490)

یہ حدیث ہمیں سکھاتی ہے کہ جب ہم اللہ کی راہ میں کوئی چیز دیتے ہیں، تو پھر اسے واپس لینے کا کوئی حق نہیں ہوتا، کیونکہ وہ صدقہ اللہ کے لیے دیا گیا ہوتا ہے۔

Hazrat Umar ibn Khattab (RA) donated a horse in the way of Allah.
Later, he saw the same horse being sold and wished to buy it back.
When he asked the Prophet ﷺ about it, the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Do not take back what you have given in charity.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 1490)

This Hadith teaches us that charity given for Allah’s sake should never be reclaimed, as it belongs to Allah once given.
