AFRICA - MENA 🌍 & APAC 🌏 | GBB26 Online Qualifier Announcement

This year, we run TWO separate online battles:
Africa-MENA Qualifier
APAC Qualifier (excluding MENA)

Both competitions are part of the official GBB26 Challenger Series.

🌍 AFRICA & MENA QUALIFIER
You must have lived in one of the following countries for at least 1 year:

MENA REGION

⚠️ IMPORTANT RULES
• The rules are the same as the official GBB26 Wildcard Competition; follow them carefully to avoid disqualification
• You are not required to submit unedited files by default, but you must keep them available
• If requested, you must provide a link to your raw video and audio files (support@swissbeatbox.com)
• Your wildcard must be recorded in real-time (no lip-syncing)
• Only basic post-processing allowed (EQ, compression, reverb)
• You must be at least 16 years old by the time the competition starts

BATTLE FORMAT
• Judges select the Top 8 wildcards per region
• Online battles:
→ 2 rounds × 1:30 (no overtime)
• Raw audio/video required for battles (SBX will mix), judges will judge raw audio
• Coin toss decides who starts, higher ranked artist from the wildcard chooses coinside

📅 RESULTS
Wildcard winners announced: May 5th Africa & Mena & May 7th APAC
Boarding participants until 10th May.

PRIZES
🥇 1st place: 500 USD for each contest, direct qualification for GBB26 solo category, paid hotel during GBB26 competition days, food & visa support
🥈 2nd place: 100 USD

By entering, you agree to all official GBB26 rules and regulations.
Finalists must prove residency (passport/ID/residence permit).

IMPORTANT COMPETITION SCHEDULE (MUST FOLLOW)
To ensure a fair and smooth competition and to allow enough time for GBB26 preparation, travel, and visa processes, all participants must strictly follow the schedule below.
⚠️ If you are unable to meet these deadlines, you may have to forfeit your place in the competition.
After confirming that you can work within the battle schedule, you will be required to sign GBB26 contract.
We cannot guarantee schedule changes, as delays affect all participants and the final GBB timeline.
