$90 eBay Macbook A1286, 2010 i7 2.66GHz, broken screen and dead - must fix for spare Mainboard
Tried to run this one at 60fps but sadly the i5-8400 just can't quite keep up with the demands.
Next thing on the Christmas list is either an i7-8xxx CPU, or just wholesale change over to a more modern MB/CPU combination (i5-11400 likely has enough to get me there but I think this time around I'll pick up an i7 for the extra headroom.
I'm still not going with the AMD setup because sadly at this stage I still like the dependability of linux on Intel with the GPU side ( sad, because I used to always run AMD gear ).
We also tried some SAC305 solder in this stream and it went quite well. #sac305 #leadfree
