Happy Halloween at the Tilly Foster Iron Mine, 10-31-21

October 31st, 2021 at the Tilly Foster Iron Mine. Tim Thomas and I visited the always "spooky" tunnels in the north. Tim, being a trained cave diver, felt quite at home in the mine tunnels, but I had to assure him beforehand that the timbers used to shore up the tunnels were there mostly there to ease the miners trepidation, as the stone is solid gneiss, as hard and study as granite. It would take sticks on TNT to blast away and cause a collapse.
