How I Paint Things - Painting with Subassemblies

Today's is less a specific painting guide and concentrating instead on a technique. Whether you're painting an enormous miniature like Alarielle the Everqueen or something as common as a Space Marine, sometimes it's difficult to reach some of the smaller areas of detail with your brush. With just a little masking to make sure you'll be able to glue those pieces together later on you can easily leave larger segments of a miniature separate and paint them as and when you like, fitting the completed sections together and finishing your model with just a few dabs of glue.
