Sounds like the group got to meet president of the USA Eisenhower the day before, so this exchange was a big deal!
It's kind of cute that the biggest international conflict for Iceland was arguing over old books with Denmark.
I think that if this was to be recreated today, the dialogue between an Arab and an Israeli wouldn't sound much different...Just as tense and seemingly irreconcilable as it was 70 years ago.
Not sure why they don't get chairs to sit on.
