Robert Nesta Marley was a Jamaican singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Influenced by Rastafarian beliefs, Marley began writing songs about spiritual freedom, resistance against oppression, and love as a unifying force.

By the 1970s, Bob Marley had become the face of the group, and eventually, the band became known as Bob Marley and the Wailers. Albums like 'Catch a Fire' and 'Rastaman Vibration' introduced reggae to a global audience. These records combined deep political meaning with rhythms that made people want to move, creating a powerful connection between message and music.
