The Prometheus In Stargate #Shorts

The first interstellar battlecruiser developed by Humanity in the Stargate universe was the X-303 Prometheus. Completed in 2002, the ship would be operated by the United States Air Force, but the ship would fall under the purview of Homeworld Command for Stargate Program missions.

The Prometheus was initially made up of reverse-engineered Goa’uld technology for a number of key systems. However, at a later date in the ships history, the Asgard race upgraded the ships systems. These upgrades featured a new hyperdrive and shield. Until 2005, Prometheus operated as Earth’s flagship, but it was destroyed in the same year.
