Kern River | Camping and Fishing in California with FZJ80 Land Cruiser

During our trip to Death Valley we made a few stops along our favorite river when it comes to fishing. The Kern River with all its amazing camp grounds and cool fishing spots is really fun and always worth hanging out for a day or two. The Kern River is divided into two sections, the lower Kern which travels from Lake Isabella down to Bakersfield while the upper Kern starts high in the Southern Sierra, close to the Golden Trout Wilderness and reaches down to the Lake Isabella. The upper Kern is definitely our favorite section but the lower Kern doesn't disappoint either when it comes to fishing. So, if you have some free time and you like fishing, this is the place to go - happy fishing!
