What This Session Does
This guided practice helps you stay present with the emotional pull toward unavailable people without acting on it. You will be invited to feel the younger part of you that learned to chase approval as a survival response, held now by the adult you who can bear what that child could not. The session works somatically, moving through body sensations, automatic thoughts, and the raw felt sense of craving cold approval. It then guides you to release the energetic charge of that old identity and rehearse a new nervous system response. Change happens gradually and without force, simply by letting your body learn a different way of being present.

As emotional patterns like chasing unavailable approval soften, people sometimes notice that what used to feel magnetic or important begins to feel different. The same relational dynamics may lose their pull, not because you try to change them, but because your nervous system no longer filters reality the same way.

How to Use This Session
Listen in a quiet space where you will not be disturbed for about fifteen to twenty minutes. Headphones are recommended but not required. While you listen, tap gently on your collarbone or anywhere on your body. The rhythmic contact helps your nervous system stay present and connected rather than drifting into your head. If you are familiar with EFT tapping, you can follow any sequence you know. If not, simple repetitive tapping on one spot is enough. This is especially helpful during activating or emotionally charged sections. There is no need to do this perfectly. Let your body take what it needs and leave the rest.
