The Power Axe Needs Some Codex-Compliant Love

If you came here expecting a glowing review of the Power Axe… sorry to disappoint. In its current state, it’s underwhelming – weak damage, sluggish horde clear, and a stance mechanic that doesn't work with perfect blocks.

It looks and feels incredible, but compared to other melee weapons, it’s just not pulling its weight.

This run was more of a slog than a showcase, with Bulwark perks doing most of the heavy lifting. I also gave the Heroic bolt pistol a spin – fun to use, but almost identical to the relic version and oddly restrictive for a burst-fire weapon.

Saber’s aware of the feedback and a hotfix is on the way. Hopefully that brings the axe up to par. Until then, enjoy the torment I had to endure with a weapon that has the same damage output across light and heavy attacks.
