Scene in Australia after shooting at Sydney's Bondi Beach

At least nine people have been killed in a shooting attack on Sydney’s Bondi Beach, Australia’s New South Wales police said in a statement. One of the shooters is also dead and the other is in critical condition, the police said.

Eleven people have been injured in the attack, including two police officers, the statement added.

“A number of suspicious items located in the vicinity are being examined by specialist officers and an exclusion zone is in place,” the statement said.

Police said there have been “no reports” of any other incidents in Sydney connected to this incident.
