Two months ago, we brought you the story of 11 huge US military jet fuel tanks built on Darwin harbour unlawfully constructed without a building permit.

We can now reveal they also have major design problems, and would likely not survive a category 3 cyclone, with potentially catastrophic consequences for the city of Darwin.
