For this Labradoodle I chose an alternative trim to the normal pet groom, and groomed him into a Schnauzer style. This was achieved by using a 10mm comb attachment on the body and tail, and top of the head, while a 7F blade was used in reverse on the cheeks and throat and rear end. Using chunkers and scissors the legs and skirt were scissored into shape. The dogs eyebrows and beard where then trimmed to closely resemble the Schnauzer trim. Using these blades still allows the body to be relatively fluffy which is generally appealing to the owner. Shorter or longer blade lengths can be used, however the trim can lose its correct shape if the body length is left to long. An eye-catching trim for owners who like their dog to stand out, however it is also practical and easily maintained.
