Orbital Shows Off Their Synths & Other Onstage Gear at Moogfest
Unlike many electronic music duos, brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll don’t just go on stage spinning turntables and then call that a performance. Orbital plays live techno using real synthesizers, drum machines, effects processors, Ableton Live, iPads, and MacBook Pros. In this video from Moogfest 2012, they give us a quick but close-up look at all the gear they drag onstage for a concert, explaining how they pull everything together to perform live music on the fly.
