An instructor at a Sapulpa, Okla., elementary school told police she planned to take field trip funds and hock two iPads to support her drug habit.

Megan Sloan had left her Facebook account open on another teacher's computer, revealing a conversation about her heroin use and her plans to pawn school property, News On 6 reports. Officers with the Sapulpa Police Department arrived at Holmes Park Elementary to question Sloan following a call from a school administrator Monday. Upon searching her purse, they discovered a curriculum of narcotics that included meth, black tar heroin and Suboxone, a controlled substance meant to reduce the symptoms of opiate addiction. Additionally, police found burnt metal spoons, empty balloons that most likely once contained heroin and approximately 40 syringes, "some empty, some still had liquid in them, some still had needles, some did not," Lt. Philip Diehl said.

Sloan reportedly told authorities that her addiction began with prescription pain killers before she got hooked on heroin.
