【Shoreditch】
Shoreditch is a district in the East End of London, which is divided between the London boroughs of Hackney and Tower Hamlets. It has been known as an entertainment quarter since the 16th century, and today hosts a number of pubs, nightclubs and bars;[1][2] while to the east of Shoreditch High Street and north of Brick Lane are primarily residential.[3]
The area straddles Old Street, Shoreditch High Street and west of Brick Lane, and includes Shoreditch Church, Boxpark and Hoxton Square. It lies immediately to the north and north east of the City of London and Spitalfields, and south and west of Bethnal Green.
