Disabled Pug Gets Stylish Wheelchair

A paraplegic pug whose family feared he might need to be put down due to his disability has been given a new lease on life after getting a stylish wheelchair.

After Suzanne Proctor’s beloved pet pug began losing mobility in his back legs earlier this year, the mum feared the worst and rushed him straight to the vet.

The 49-year-old from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, said she had no idea what was wrong but was worried her pooch Dudley, 12, might have to be put down.

Following an examination, the vet determined that little Dudley had been struck down by canine degenerative myelopathy – similar to multiple sclerosis (MS) in humans – and sadly, would never be able to walk again.
