Seattle police release suspect photos in unprovoked attack that critically injured victim

Seattle police released surveillance photos on Thursday of the suspect believed to have critically injured a man in an unprovoked attack in Seattle’s Central Business District.

The 34-year-old victim, George Miller, was assaulted shortly after midnight on May 4.

Investigators say surveillance video captured the suspect walking past the victim before repeatedly striking him in the head with an object, possibly a hammer, more than a dozen times near 6th Ave and Madison Street, outside the Renaissance Hotel.
