Wright Museum of African American History, said her publicist Gwendolyn Quinn.  The museum is in Aretha's hometown of Detroit and was chosen to accommodate the thousands expected to show up.  Her private funeral will then be at 10am on Friday August 31 at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.   The funeral will be limited to family and friends, according to The Detroit News .  She will be entombed at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit, along with her father, Rev. C.L. Franklin; brother Cecil Franklin; sisters Carolyn Franklin and Erma Franklin; and nephew, Thomas Garrett.  Aretha died as a result of pancreatic cancer, it's been confirmed.  The music legend died at 9.50am on Thursday August 16 under hospice care, according to her death certificate.  The document, obtained by TMZ, confirms that the cause of Aretha's death was natural.  The 76-year-old music legend died at her home in Detroit surrounded by family.
