Bitcoin vs. Litecoin (Which Is Better?)

In this video, I discuss the main differences between Bitcoin and Litecoin.

Litecoin produces more blocks per hour, but Bitcoin has a larger market cap, greater liquidity, and greater settlement assurances, as measured by transaction dollar amount relative to incentives to roll back a block.

Litcoin being silver to Bitcoin's gold is more a marketing slogan than anything substantial, since Bitcoin is easily divisible (unlike gold bars).

Large institutional investors will always choose Bitcoin over Litecoin.
