Abandoned Ghost Ship - The Floating Hospital (Historic)

First operating in 1866 after the Civil War, the Floating Hospital was created to aid unlucky war veteran's. This specific vessel was operated from the 1970's to specifically help the needy children of New York City's five boroughs. After years of service the ship fell into disrepair. Another cool fact about the boat was on September 11th, 2001 the ship was conveniently docked near the twin towers and helped wounded civilians escape downtown Manhattan that day.
