Today we will be covering Freeform Bass / Hybrid Trap style sound design a la Blurrd Vzn, Peekaboo, and G-REX.

Both Vital and Ableton have a variety of features that can be used to achieve this style of sound.
Sinoid fold, distortion of all kinds, filtering, and frequency shifter/ring mod are your friends for these kind of basses.
Be sure to automate any parameters you'd like for some interesting movement and variations.

As for arrangement, its impossible to miss the classic - - | ________
and often there's no better way to achieve such a strong call and response with moments of tension.
