Hello 👋 and Welcome Back or Welcome to my channel if you are new. In todays video I am counting my $1, $5, and $10 bills for January through March 2020, and it is the 9th week. This is how a single mother budgets using the Dave Ramsey inspired budgeting system or cash envelope system. I am new to budgeting but I will get better as time progresses.

The #cashenvelopesystem is a way to track exactly how much money you have in each budget category for the month by keeping your cash tucked away in envelopes. At the end of the month, you can see how much cash is left over by looking into your envelope. Pretty easy right?

One of the reasons we overspend is because we constantly swipe our cards and there is nothing telling us when to stop. That is where the envelope system comes into play. This system is one more tool to help you stick to your budget.

If you’re constantly over spending in a certain category (hello, food 🥘, and shopping 🛍) then create a budgeted and stick to it! The envelope system is a great tool to help you stop overspending!
