The Missing Daytona 500 Cars | Under the Sheet Metal

The Daytona 500 is NASCAR's biggest race. A driver carries that accomplishment with them for the rest of their career. The cars carry that with them as well. In this episode of Under The Sheet Metal, we trace the histories of several Daytona 500 winning cars. Mario Andretti's winning Ford Fairlane was the same car Darrell Waltrip made his Cup debut in. Derrike Cope's 1990 car was destroyed six years later. And Dale Jarrett's 2000 car was taken out of a museum to race again.
