5 Parrots Whose Owner was Murdered Need Your Help! | Parrot Rescue

Jeanine Vore was a beloved member of her Northern California Community. She was once a vibrant Olympic level dressage competitor and a professor of equine science. She loved her Parrots and treated them like her children. As she became Elderly, she struggled with Disabilities but was always known as a woman who would help any person or animal. Her life was brutally taken in front of her BIRDS in her own HOME. These Traumatized/Victimized Parrots Faced possible Euthanasia until Blue Canyon Parrot Rescue and Sanctuary made the commitment to transport them to their non-profit facility. THESE BIRDS ARE ALL SPECIAL NEEDS and require immediate Medical Evaluation and Care as well as Food and Appropriate Cages. We are reaching out and asking others to please contribute and HELP us Rehabilitate these dearly loved, feathered children. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Update: The Birds all saw an avian Vet yesterday and Ginger is going to require surgery to close the 1 1/2 inch hole in her chest and remove the scar tissue. Most of the birds have infections and have been prescribed antibiotics and fungal meds. I will keep everyone updated on the bird's care. Vet bills are expected to easily go over $10,000.
