FATWOOD 2020 *DANGER TREES*

2020 California wildfire season that will be hard to forget! This video is a slight glimpse of what it's like to be a private timber faller for the government on wildfire.

We had the pleasure of meeting some awesome timber fallers, divisions, battalion chiefs, saw bosses, hotshots, firefighters, helicopter pilots and engine folks!

We remove these highly compromised trees to assist the firefighters in back burn operations to stop the fire spreading. We also to make the roadways safer for private citizens to drive on after the fire has passed.

These chainsaws both Stihl and Husqvarna(unfortunately) are highly modified and the cutting/falling techniques seen in this video are not be considered OSHA approved or in any way duplicated. For entertainment only!
