Storm Escape! From Island Life to Mountain Roads in Thailand

In this episode, we set off for the tropical island of Koh Tao, chasing sunshine and slow island days — but Mother Nature had other plans. With a storm rolling in fast, we made the tough call to cut our island escape short and head north to Chiang Mai.

What followed were some incredible days exploring ancient temples, soaking up local history, and getting lost in the charm of the old town. But the real adventure began when we rented scooters and took on the legendary road to Pai — 762 curves of pure freedom, winding through lush mountains and jaw-dropping scenery.
