HAMBURGER GRAVY

Come in to my kitchen today! We are going to figure out a recipe for our scratch recipe for Hamburger Gravy!

HAMBURGER GRAVY

5 medium potatoes, scrubbed and boiled till tender in water. Reserve water
1 1/2 pounds of ground chuck
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon Mrs Dash Onion & Herb Seasoning
1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 envelope Herb Ox granulated beef bouillon
1/2 cup beef broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Potato water as needed, for thinning

Lets make it-

In a skillet, add the ground chuck, onion and herb seasoning. Cook over medium heat till browned. Add flour, stir to coat the meat, cook for a couple minutes, stirring frequently. Add the milk, granulated bouillon, beef broth and salt and pepper to taste. Stir till thickened. Taste and adjust seasonings. Use the potato water to thin the gravy, as desired. To serve: add a couple potatoes to a plate, rough mash and add gravy! Enjoy!
