Decoupage 101: Avoiding Bubbles and Wrinkles and Part 1 of a Tray

The art of decoupage makes transforming old and tired into new and beautiful quickly and easily! I can remember using Holly Hobby wrapping paper to make wall hangings onto ceramic castings as a young girl. Back then I used Elmers Glue and water and although it wasn't perfect it did the trick, lol. Do you remember Holly Hobby?

Have you ever wanted to decoupage but had too many questions to even know what to ask? What does decoupage involve, what surfaces can I decoupage to, and how do I get a smooth finish? These are just some of the questions I've asked over the years. In this video we'll look at which decoupage mediums work best for me and how I decide which one to use. Craziest of all I recently decoupaged wrapping paper onto my jewelry armoire, much like years ago with the Holly Hobby wrapping paper. It just brings a smile to my face.
