GenConnex Honda EU7000is Natural Gas / Propane Conversion Runs Rough at Idle / Light Load

Here is my Honda EU7000is with GenConnex conversion kit, running on natural gas at ~700 VA. As you can see and hear, the engine is running rough enough to shake the whole generator and it even back-fires half a dozen times during this video. It runs worse with no load at all.

UPDATE 02/16/2021: This is what happened when I tried to run it at 30F with the "normal" orifice: https://youtu.be/A_LYYceiDfo

IMHO it is way too rich under light load. The high temperature natural gas orifice was installed. Temperature was 82F.

I reached out to GenConnex for help, but was told that this is to be expected because the engine timing is static, and not appropriate for fuels other than gasoline. They suggest defeating the ECO Throttle, but while that results in more overall noise, which tends to mask the backfires, it doesn't actually solve the problem. And more than that, after spending so much money for a quiet generator, one wouldn't want to defeat ECO throttle, even if it did solve the problem.

I am posting this as public in hopes that someone may know how to solve the problem. If you do, I would very much appreciate it if you would comment here. And if it turns out that nobody knows how to fix it, then hopefully this video will serve to save others from making the same mistakes that I did. I look forward to your comments!
